A TENS machine is a therapeutic device that uses surface electrodes to deliver a pulsed electrical current through the skin to stimulate a nerve. The nerves stimulated can be sensory nerves (sensation) or motor nerves (movement). Metron Pro TENS unit is our most popular machine. It is a fully portable battery powered device, and uses dials to adjust the pulse width, rate, intensity and mode.
Metron Pro TENS has dual channels allowing for the placement of 4 electrodes over the painful area. Treatments can be timed using an inbuilt timer with 15, 30 and 60 min durations stopping the treatment on the alarm. The Digi TENS has the added bonus of a large digital crystal display screen. Adjusting the settings on the Digi is a much easier process than the small nobs and inscriptions on the Pro with push buttons with options displayed on the digital screen.
Digi TENS has the ability to store your treatment times and schedules which can be examined by your chiropractor to ensue proper treatment outcomes.
