Matthew completed his Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and Masters of Chiropractic at Macquarie University and has been with Back to Basics since 2009. He is a member of the Chiropractors’ Association of Australia (CAA) and has also completed further studies in ancillary techniques such as Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT) and pregnancy care. His preferred treatment style incorporates adjustments, rehabilitation and stretching. Matthew has a keen interest in acute injury management and wellness care.
Matthew believes health comes from a balanced life and tries to implement this in his own life through diet and exercise in combination with work and relaxation. He enjoys reading and going to the gym.
Matthew was first introduced to Chiropractic at the age of 12 when he suffered a bulging disc after an incident while swimming. His first hand experience with leg weakness, numbness, inability to sleep and constant pain means he is able to empathise with those patients in acute and chronic pain.
